Why Does Islam Forbid Lesbianism and Homosexuality?

The rise of LGBTQ rights and acceptance in recent years has brought significant changes to societal norms and attitudes. While the promotion of equality and human rights is commendable, there are concerns among some religious communities, including Islam, about the impact of what they perceive as LGBTQ propaganda. This article delves into the Islamic perspective on LGBTQ issues and aims to provide a balanced understanding while addressing the dangers associated with the propagation of LGBTQ ideologies.

Traditional Islamic Views on LGBTQ Matters:
The traditional Islamic perspective on LGBTQ matters stems from interpretations of certain Quranic verses and Hadiths. Islam, like other Abrahamic faiths, considers same-sex relationships as contrary to the natural order established by God. The story of the people of Lot (Quran 7:80-84) is often cited as an example of God’s punishment upon a community that practiced homosexuality.

Homosexuality as Sinful:
The Quran and Hadiths consider homosexuality as sinful behavior. For example:

“And [We had sent] Lot when he said to his people, ‘Do you commit such immorality as no one has preceded you with from among the worlds? Indeed, you approach men with desire, instead of women. Rather, you are a transgressing people.'” (Quran 7:80-81)

The story of the people of Lot is often cited as a reference to the prohibition of same-sex relationships in Islam. Islamic scholars who adhere to this view consider homosexual acts as a deviation from the natural order ordained by Allah.

  1. Homosexuals go against the natural disposition (fitrah) which Allah has created in mankind. 2. The spread of homosexuality and lesbianism has caused man diseases which neither the East nor the West can deny exist because of them.
  2. Homosexuality and lesbianism cause the breakup of the family and lead people to give up their work and study because they are preoccupied with these perversions.

Ibn al-Qayyim said:

“Both of them – fornication and homosexuality – involve immorality that goes against the wisdom of Allah’s creation and commandment. For homosexuality involves innumerable evil and harms, and the one to whom it is done would be better off being killed than having this done to him, because after that he will become so evil and so corrupt that there can be no hope of his being reformed, and all good is lost for him, and he will no longer feel any shame before Allah or before His creation. The semen of the one who did that to him will act as poison on his body and soul. The scholars differed as to whether the one to whom it is done will ever enter Paradise. There are two opinions which I heard Shaykh al-Islam (may Allah have mercy on him) narrate.” (al-Jawab al-Kafi, p. 115)

Dangers of homosexuality and lesbianism
The spread of homosexuality has caused man diseases which neither the East nor the West can deny exist because of them. Even if the only result of this perversion was AIDS – which attacks the immune system in humans – that would be enough.

It also causes the breakup of the family and leads people to give up their work and study because they are preoccupied with these perversions.

Since the prohibition has come from his Lord, the Muslim should not wait until medicine proves that harm befalls the one who does that which Allah has forbidden. Rather he must believe firmly that Allah only prescribes that which is good for people, and these modern discoveries should only increase his certainty and confidence in the greatness of Allah’s wisdom.

    A large-scale study, corroborated by every other study on the matter concluded the influence of genetics on homosexual tendencies is practically 0, or at least less than 1%.
    Therefore the factor in (1 – abuse) and other environmental factors are what lead to homosexuality – as proven objectively and scientifically.

Danger of LGBTQ

  1. Danger to children
    As stated, even though LGBTQ is 3% of the population the ratio of hetero to homosexual is 1:11, also homosexual tendencies are up to 20x higher in pedophiles.

Schools are targeting kids as young as age 5 to make them homosexual, do you want your kids as young as 5 to be told they are born in the wrong body, or that they could be born gay, or read school books that promote LGBTQ, to go home and watch cartoons filled with LGBTQ content?

As stated, homosexuality is not genetic, but environmental – so the constant and open propaganda and the indoctrination of our kids is something extremely dangerous.

Also, as homosexuals have higher rates of pedophilic tendencies, the devious plan to get children comfortable which sexuality and pornography and drag at a young age is something that plays into the trap of homosexuals.

The current problem with this topic isn’t even about the adult participants.

It’s about the children!

Under the guise of inclusion, the Rainbow coalition is looking to Dept of Education to introduce K-5 school kids to sex — not just any type of sex but gay sex! They don’t even bother with the 96-97% of straight sex!

It leads to a quandary:

if they’re born that way and nothing we do can change a person’s sexuality… then why bother trying to indoctrinate them into rampant sexuality??

if sexuality is a total social construct … then you absolutely shouldn’t be allowed to promote your adult sexual proclivities to children at large!!

Indoctrination & propaganda is ultimately about repetition repetition repetition. So they will keep inundating us with Rainbow sex topics as long as we allow them to.

You should email your schools or admins and respectfully voice how you do NOT want your kids to opt into talks about the sexual happenstances of adults. You can use a sample exemption letter to opt out of the LGBTQ curriculum.

It’s inappropriate and should have nothing to do with the inclusion of adults into children’s circles.

  1. Danger to themselves
    What are the 2 leading killers of homosexuals?
    HIV and suicide.
    What are these as a result of? Their personal choice to practice sexuality.

Furthermore, 58% of homosexuals have issues with intestinal worms, almost 80% of them have STDS, 17x more likely to have anal cancer, and more likely to drink, smoke, have multiple sexual partners, and make bad lifestyle choices. Also more likely to experience violence in their relationships (over 75% for gay women)

So to conclude, for the benefit of society, and by the law of all Abrahamic religions, LGBRQ is something that shouldn’t be promoted, especially because environmental pressures and forces are the main drivers for the one who identified as homosexual.

2- “Verily, We sent against them a violent storm of stones (which destroyed them all), except the family of Lut (Lot), them We saved in the last hour of the night.” [al-Qamar 54:34 – interpretation of the meaning]

3- “And (remember) Lut (Lot), when he said to his people: ‘Do you commit the worst sin such as none preceding you has committed in the ‘Alamin (mankind and jinn)?” [al-A’raf 7:80 – interpretation of the meaning]

And Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“And (remember) Lut (Lot), when he said to his people: ‘You commit Al-Fahishah (sodomy the worst sin) which none has preceded you in (committing) it in the ‘Alamin (mankind and jinn)’” [al-‘Ankabut 29:28]

4- “And (remember) Lut (Lot), We gave him Hukm (right judgment of the affairs and Prophethood) and (religious) knowledge, and We saved him from the town (folk) who practiced Al-Khabaith (evil, wicked and filthy deeds). Verily, they were a people given to evil, and were Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah)” [al-Anbiya 21:74 – interpretation of the meaning]

5- “And (remember) Lut (Lot)! When he said to his people, ‘Do you commit Al-Fahishah (evil, great sin, every kind of unlawful sexual intercourse, sodomy) while you see (one another doing evil without any screen)? Do you practice your lust on men instead of women? Nay, but you are a people who behave senselessly.’ There was no other answer given by his people except that they said: ‘Drive out the family of Lut (Lot) from your city. Truly, these are men who want to be clean and pure!’ So We saved him and his family, except his wife. We destined her to be of those who remained behind. And We rained down on them a rain (of stones). So evil was the rain of those who were warned.” [al-Naml 27:54-58 – interpretation of the meaning]

1- Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: ‘There is nothing I fear for my ummah more than the deed of the people of Lut.’” (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 1457; Ibn Majah, 2563. This hadith was classed as sahih by Shaykh al-Albani (may Allah have mercy on him) in Sahih al-Jami, no. 1552).

2- Ibn ‘Abbas said: “The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “… cursed is the one who has intercourse with an animal, cursed is the one who does the action of the people of Lut.” (Narrated by Ahmad, 1878. This hadith was classed as sahih by Shaykh al-Albani in Sahih al-Jami, no. 5891).

3- Ibn ‘Abbas said: “The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: ‘Whoever you find doing the deed of the people of Lut, kill the one who does it and the one to whom it is done.” (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 1456; Abu Dawud, 4462; Ibn Majah, 2561. This hadith was classed as sahih by Shaykh al-Albani in Sahih al-Jami, no. 6589).

Christian New Testament perspective

Romans 1:26-27

In other words, Muslims believe it is sinful to do something that goes against their conscience and therefore morally wrong to force anyone to do something against their conscience. Muslims believe sincere conscience objections should be respected and that no one should be forced to do something they believe is morally impermissible.

However, certain teachings within our religious tradition hold specific views on LGBTQ matters that are incongruent with some aspects of the school’s curriculum. Our concern is that participating in these lessons might contradict our religious principles and cause internal conflicts for our children.

In light of this, we kindly request the following:

  1. An exemption for our children from lessons that directly conflict with our religious beliefs regarding LGBTQ matters.
  2. An alternative arrangement for these students during the times when such lessons are conducted, ensures they do not miss out on other essential parts of the curriculum.

We would like to affirm the religious protections that the United States Constitution, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (Title IX), and other laws provide to Schools in Illinois, and we assert our religious exemption with respect to any application of Title IX relating to sexual orientation and gender identity that is not consistent with the religious tenets of The Islamic Faith.

Amendment 14 of the United States Constitution:
All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
