Islamic Eschatology: Signs of the End Times

The anticipation of the Day of Judgment, as described in Islamic eschatology, is a subject of profound significance for Muslims worldwide. The Quranic revelations present a rich tapestry of eschatological details that encompass the cosmic transformation of the world, the final judgment, and the creation of an eternal realm that encompasses both paradise and hell. While the terrestrial signs indicating the approach of the hour remain a relatively minor theme in the Quranic message, the actual unfolding of the apocalypse, including the cosmic destruction, resurrection, last judgment, and the assignment of individuals to their eternal destinations, is a fully developed part of Islamic doctrine.
